Selkie!

The Selkie is an illustration based upon the folklore story of… you guessed it the Selkie. 
The Selkie is a magickal story passed down generations for thousands of years, the story starts with the seal, a seal that under a full moon swims to the shore and unzips their skin, revealing a woman climbing out of their seal skin and dancing upon the rocks.

However, beware as if the Selkie loses their skin, they leave their seal identity and become a fully fledged women that longs for their true identity to return.

The Selkie is an illustration created with pen and ink onto recycled cotton rag paper, available in A5 and A4. The piece is sent with backing card and recycled film, protected in a sturdy padded envelope.
